Two bodies of water but not water babes. What's up with that?

The calm pool is beautiful. Waht a great place to do a few laps and then relax.

A bunch of my friends want to go on a scuba diving vacation to Cuba. It probably hasn't seen a lot of divers yet. The beach looks like a good place to start.

Actually, Cuba is a top diving destination for those of us not living in the US.  There is especially great diving in the nature reserve Castro -- who was an avid diver, and dived with Coustea there - set up around a large part of the coast of Isla de la Juventud (formerly Treasure Island, then Isle of Pines).  We also had a wonderful family dive at Bay of Pigs, where shore dives are very easy (much easier than most beaches) because of metal stairs to facilitate the process.

Caya Coco and a number of other sites on the main island are apparently also very good, generally much better than dives in the Varradero tourist strip area.

Photography is a small voice, at best, but sometimes one photograph, or a group of them, can lure our sense of awareness.
