It's not likely I will upgrade. My reservation is mainly due to the new sensor. If it gives up some of that famous Sigma/Foveon detail then Sigma may find themselves in the situation where the previous model is more desired than the new one.

Does the new Foveon increase resolution, or stays the same?

It goes to 19 MP from a bit over 15, but it will no longer have the same number of pixels at each layer so it will now be interpolating where it didn't before. I'm skeptical that the special Foveon detail is not going to take a hit. Will have to wait and see.
