Sigma cameras are great one trick pony, not for most photographers

For those who want a one trick pony then Sigma is probably a great alternative for landscape photography. Sports, wedding, wildlife and many other uses Sigma ISO performance won't cut it. The majority of photographers choose other cameras because they don't shoot just landscape. The Sigma low ISO advantage isn't so great that other high end cameras are made unsuitable for landscape simply by the presence of Sigma. For this reason Sigma will need to figure out a way to get competitive at higher ISOs to make their camera business financially a winner and sustainable.
