A well known local landmark, this massive old barn won't be around much longer and is way too far gone to save. That it is still standing now is testament to its rugged construction. But farmers nowadays don't need this type of building anymore, and the cost of maintaining them is huge. Just imagine how many cedar shingles it took to side it, and how many shingles for the roof!
