Possibility of shooting flying bird with Fuji X-T1 and 55-200?
Feb 18, 2014

I’m not an enthusiast of shooting flying bird. But I would like to try occasionally since I really like the pictures from my friend using Nikon D800 + 300mm/f4 lens. Size and weight is a big consideration to me so I can’t live with Nikon system so I’m looking for mirrorless replacement.

The two combos in my mind with be Fuji X-T1 or Olympus OMD E1 plus a 300mm eqiv lens.

I know it’s not fair to expect the same level performance/results from the Fuji combo, but will at least get the bird at all? Will the the AF/CF be much slower than the Nikon set? Or Olympus will be a better choice?
