Just a couple from the SX50
Feb 18, 2014

I went out yesterday hoping to catch the early migration of the Cranes over my location in SW France, but they didn't turn up. I did come back with a couple of snaps that interested me taken with the SX50.

Sorry, no birds, distant airplanes nor cats!

I have no religion but stained glass in churches always interests me. This one is hand held at 1/13 and nice enough as a record shot of the glass.  Full size is very pleasing. The other is a hand held macro at 1/30 of a plant that fascinated me. It is the seed head of what I call a Chinese Lantern. The very light outer membrane has decayed to almost nothing leaving just the skeleton and a clear view of the seed within. There are some wonderful things in nature. These were shot as jpg and pp'd in CS3

Stained glass at St.Alvère France.
