Pardon a nitpicker's moment: you mean a bit MORE DoF.

For the same field of view, same focus distance, and same aperture setting, a FourThirds format camera will net an in-focus zone that is larger—comparable to stopping down an equivalently configured FF camera two more stops. "Depth of Field" is the distance from near to far in which the subject appears sharply focused. Smaller formats produce more DoF, larger formats produce less DoF, given the same FoV, aperture, and focus settings.
