Is this the reason why they are giving heavy discount on current lenses?

May be the older lenses 18mm, 35mm, 60mm will be improved with faster, quieter focusing? I just hope they don't make them bigger and heavier.

I've been suspecting Fuji will eventually do something like this. Either come up with an XF 35mm mK-2, or develop a new, 36mm lens that looks more like the 23mm.
