How to achieve this look?

I rather like the family portrait style of Gayle Vehar - http://www.momandcamera.com/blog/

But she doesn't give away her post-processing secrets, unless they are buried away somewhere on her blog.

It almost looks as if everything apart from the people in the images is over-exposed, there is a lot of contrast and saturation boosting as well. But anyone got any ideas on what she is likely doing to get this bright, colourful look while retaining decent, natural looking skin tones?
