May be the older lenses 18mm, 35mm, 60mm will be improved with faster, quieter focusing? I just hope they don't make them bigger and heavier.

Those lenses need refresh badly, not optically, but internal mechanics.  Compare them to the newer, more refined releases like the 14, 23, or even 18-55 and their shortcomings are very apparent.  fuji need not reinvent the wheel, just bring them up mechanically to par with the newer models.  It's almost like they were rushed into production with the X-P1's release, and now they are showing their age.  If I'm going to plunk down big $$ for one, I don't want it to sound like a cheap can opener grinding and chattering as it is trying hard to achieve focus lock.
