Reason for Fujifilm X-T1 poor sample images

I revisted the samples. It appears the ISO, aperature, and shutter speed are set wrong. For picture of rocks - the shutter speed is set for moving objects. we all understand that the rocks are not moving. (Maybe the phtographer was riding a bicycle).

Most of the other pictures parameters are set wrong.  I am using my CANON AE-1 as the gold standard.

Why publish (as the gold standard) poor quality work is beyond me.
