Upgrade options Imac 27 or used Mac pro 2010 or new nMPRO

Hello to everyone!

I own a 27" late 2009 imac i5 2.66 , 16gb ram, 1tb HDD .

I am a wedding photographer and mainly use lightroom 5 + photoshop cc and everyday use.

I shoot with Nikon d800 and raw files are a big pain, and my current imac is not as fast as i would like, and i have the feeling that slows me down, especially when i have 3000 picture of wedding to process.

My current setup is:

All my photos are to an external Firewire 800 HDD, and my lightroom catalogue to internal 1tb.

I am thinking 3 upgrade options

1) Replace my internal HDD with a 960gb crucial SSD, and use my 1 TB to optical bay. ( cost around 350-400 euro)

2) I found a used Mac pro mid 2010 2x2.66ghz Xeon , 24gb ram, 1tb HDD, superdrive + blue-ray + 1gb ati 5770 + Apple cinema display 27" (previous model not 2550 wide but 1900) at a cost of 2600 euro. I already found to sell my current Imac 900 euro so the cost will be around 1700.

3) Buying new Mac pro Late 2013 basic configuration Mac Pro Quad-Core 3,7GHz/12GB RAM/256GB SSD/Dual AMD FirePro D300 at 3300 euro

At option No2, i am thinking to have one ssd for operating system, one ssd for lightroom scratch, and 2 more HDD to have my photos + files. In future terms, i can upgrade up to 64 or 128gb ram... and maybe have a better graphic card...

My budget max is 3300 that costs the nMPRO.

I want maximum performance on Lightroom 5, no lags, quick preview  and of course photoshop cc performance!

So i hear your opinions!  If you suggest something else, i am open!

Thank you

Vasilis
