The uncompressed clean HDMI out will really have to wait and seel. Even the higher end A7 and A7R suffer for bad aliasing (see Phillips Bloom's review), plus it's a micro HDMI connector which are prone to loosing signal transfer at the slightest bit of movement.

Sony's main problem is probably the lack of lenses. Instead of releasing new models so often and discontinuing the A mount line, they should support their cameras with better lenses. Even third party lens manufacturers (other than their deal with Zeiss) are hesitant to commit.

Case in point, you can't even get a staple 70-200 F/2.8 for the E mount (other than the Zeiss 70-200 T2.9 for $19,900).
