By the way as regarding you're current endevours I actually came up with a small suggestion today while cleaning filters and cleaning up equipment (going for an outing tomorrow or Thursday I hope) thinking that you might have one, then I'd suggest bring along a filter (looked through some gradients and the likes today) and try to imagine your pictures only in contrats before shooting them.

I was looking through a 3 stop black gradient and it seems to me at least that without the camera just looking through the gradient changed my perception. It's just a friendly suggestion.

Also try to imagine the message you have with you shoot. I seem to recall an old thread where we talked about small memory cards and film cameras back when Peter was still in charge of the thread.

Anyways I do like that you're going outside your comfort zone and look forward to see the results from it
