No. I shoot with smaller format camera systems using longer lenses when I want shallower DoF.

Fast lenses are essential to get the most out of small formats with wider FoV. My most used lens is a normal, the Panasonic-Leica Summilux-DG 25mm f/1.4 ASPH, and second after that is the outstanding M.Zuiko 75mm f/1.8. Both can return very shallow DoF, if that's what you want. I went with the slower Macro-Elmarit-DG 45/2.8 ASPH for the middle range .. can't get quite the hair-thickness shallow DoF quality, but it renders so beautifully even wide open I don't care. I'm waiting for the upcoming Summilux-DG 15mm f/1.7 ASPH now.
