Can you modify a Super-Multicoated-Takumur 50mm 1.4 for 6D?

Hey all. I purchased a Super-Multicoated-Takumar 50mm f1.4 the other day.

Unfortunately my mirror is colliding with the lens at infinity.

There are many variations of this lens. Just so we're on the same page here is the same lens I have.

I've tried a Fotodiox V.1 and V.2 adapter both without the flange lip that presses the aperture pin down. I'm pretty sure a flange adapter is not necessary because the lens has auto/manual switch.

If I were to modify this lens by filing the back down does anyone know what pieces would need to be filed?

In other words, what exactly is colliding with the mirror? The lip around the glass? The aperture pin?

Any help or thoughts would be welcome. Also, I'm not willing to shave my mirror so lets not go there!

If all fails I will eventually use this lens on Fuji X.

Canon EOS 6D
