Lol...The 12-40 at f/2.8 (24-80 w f/5.6 DOF ONLY) has a much faster shutter speed than 24-70 f/4,

LOL... lenses don't have shutter speeds unless they also have shutters. Photographers choose shutter speeds and camera ISO settings based on their output needs. You can use a higher shutter speed with the 24-70 and still get similar mid-tone noise.

Lol...yes you all keep repeating that dog and pony show, but I have photos that show a different picture, no pun intended...

How about a FZ200 24-600mm EFL f/2.8 with a faster shutter speed than the 24-70 f/4 and much better for birding and close ups and moon shots?

You do know basic algebra right? What's the "f" in f/2.8 stand for? If you multiply the "f" on one side, you have to multiply the "f" on the other side... LOL.

Lol, and I am waiting on your A7 1020mm shots of wild birds and the moon...

Each format has distinct advantages over the other formats...even the Superzooms...lol,,,and there's nothing you or anyone else in this forum can do about it..it is a fact...

Mr Ichiro Kitao, I support the call to upgrade the FZ50.
I will not only buy one but two no questions asked...
