No it is not 1 stop dimmer. The depth of field is the same as f5.6 on the Zeiss lens. That is all. Just because the sensor is a different size does not alter the exposure required. The same as the exposure would still be the same on a 5x4 camera. That is why light meters do not have to have the format size set on them.
