NEX 3N with kit lens or stick with my Panasonic LX7 - please help
8 months ago

My primary camera is an LX7, small sensor, great f1.4 - F2.3 over 24mm - 90mm lens.  I travel a lot and shoot landscapes, cityscapes, people, architecture, food, but mostly outdoors during the day.

Will I see any significant difference in IQ and dynamic range (I'm not a pixel peeper) when viewing my images primarily on my 27" iMac or making prints up to 12X18.  I would like to get a bigger sensor camera than is still truly portable and really not interested in buying many (if any) more lenses but I'm not optimistic i will actually see much difference in output.

The LX 7 does a pretty good job, if you ask me.  Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Joel
