Window mount or beanbag for Kruger?

This will be my first time in Africa and I will be taking guided safaris in Kruger National Park, South Africa. I know I won't be allowed out of the vehicle. The question is, are the vehicles windowless (in which case a monopod or beanbag will be my best choice of camera support) or with roll-down windows (in which case a window mount will be more solid)? Will the guide kill the engine when we see something or should I plan to contend with engine vibration? Any other advice for getting steady long-tele shots in that situation? TIA, Tom
