On Feb. 9th Fujifilm is placing most of their remarkable lenses on sale; up to $200 or more off each of the current lenses. This excludes the new 56mm and 10-24mm lenses.

The camera bodies are already on sale.

You can pick up one of the last of the X-E1 bodies, new, that will ever be available, at a very significant discount. With the free software updates that are available, this camera will perform very nearly as well as the X-E2 or the new X-T1. If you buy one of these with the 18-55mm zoom, you will almost wind up with a free camera body.

You will have money left over to purchase the very nice 55-200mm for $500, the 27mm pancake will be $200. The wonderful 14mm wide angle will be $700, and you might also be able to squeeze in either the 23mm or the 35mm standard lenses.

Camera bodies come and go, but lenses last a long time. With a setup like this, you'd get time to experience the Fuji interface, and pick up a more advanced body in the future. But you wouldn't be sacrificing image quality, as the Fuji sensor, coupled with the outstanding glass, produces standard size prints that can't be distinguished from those produced by larger, full frame sensors.
