Sigma 19mm vs 30mm...if you could only have one of them...

Many people like the SEL 1650 a lot. It's an okay lens if you're not a pixel peeper - but at the short end, there's a lot of distortion, so you have to shoot JEPG (auto corrections in camera) or if you shoot RAW, process using a program like PS, Lightroom, or DxO which has a lens correction module. For travel and convenience, the 1650 is probably a good choice. For low light and fine detail, there are better options, including the Sigma 19 (though there's a big difference in field of view between 16 and 19mm).
