NX300 Live View Exposure simulation and full-time depth of field preview
10 months ago

I bought a NX300 recently and happy with it overall, especially for its better video quality than my Sony NEX-7 which is not as sharp in video quality. One thing I miss though is the NEX-7's LCD live view exposure simulation and DOF preview feature I have with the Sony. I am not sure if NX300 has such function and how to turn it on if it does.

By default the NEX-7 is set up to preview your image settings as closely as possible. It attempts to mimic the brightness of the final exposure in its live view display, and unlike some competitors, does so in all exposure modes.

Without this feature or without this feature turn on, the actual picture may turn out darker or brighter than what I see on the LCD before taking the picture, thus yielding many unusable photos.  Please help.
