Are there any serious users of MF lenses on this forum?

I assume fewer and fewer do now as native lenses grow

When m4/3 first came out, there was no inexpensive 50-45 mm fast lenses so there were lots and lots discussions on how happy people were to re-discover cheap 50mm f1.8/1.4 lenses and how wonderful it is to manually focus as a way to enjoy pure photography.  There were many discussion of how one 50 mm lens is better than the others, and so on.  Once the $300 45/1.8 came out, these threads slowly die down.  The native lenses are just better and the AF versions allow you to take advantage of the various AF tricks the system offers.  Thus, the "need" for using old MF lenses has pretty much die down.  If you have some good lenses and you want to try them, go ahead, what applies to the NEX applies to the m4/3 system just that the crop factors are different.
