The really good ones don't need to spray and pray.

The real good ones are more of an anomaly than a normal occurrence in any trade. That said, the real good ones are good because they have the talent and have trained to hone the art of anticipation. I am sure a new talented photographer starting off with an EVF will very well manage to work with the milliseconds of latency on top pf the 1/10 second latency that it takes for the brain to process the rays of light that the eye picked up.
