The above is absolute nonsense, and only have been written by someone who doesn't on these cameras. I use all three of these cameras in a professional capacity, and the only way I see the D610 being inferior to the 5d3 is in focusing speed.
The Nikon trumps the Canon in terms of dynamic range, detail, colors, etc.
I own more Canon equipmeny than I do Nikon, and you are denying the obvious.
In my opinion the 6D also beats the 5d3 because of much lower noise, better DR and no banding. And the 6D has surprisingly fast and accurate auto focus.

Besides focusing speed, D610 is inferior in focusing accuracy, ergonomics, focusing points coverage, number of cross type focusing points, skin tones, the interpolated LV makes it useless for landscapes with MF lenses, while the extra DR of the Sony sensor doesn't translate to a real life advantage in 99%+ of shots. To summarize, D610 is a lower class camera that does not compare to 5D3.

6D is a better camera in the same class as D600, but to me both are pointless. The main advantage of FF is shallow DOF that requires a better AF with wider coverage and off-center cross points. IMHO the only cameras worth considering today are 5D3 and A7r depending on the type of photography.
