Just wanted to add a note. In the package is a list of bulbs which go with the lamp. The 750 watt bulb lasts for 400 hours while the 500 watt version lasts 2600 hours.

I would tend to prefer less power and better endurance.

Also, here is a small fire extinguisher which should be on hand when using hot lamps of any kind.

I cant say enough about the safety hazard the heat these lamps produce represents.  Use with great care.
