Time to upgrade from D80 - which camera to choose?

Hello - I'm looking to upgrade from my D80 and debating on a D7000 or D7100. I shoot mainly family photography, so lots of fast moving kids and parents with newborns inside homes (often in low light). I've used my D80 for 6 years and have been happy with it most of the time, but I've found it's often sluggish in low light and when I push up the ISO to compensate in low light, the images are just too noisy. So I'm looking to upgrade as my business picks up. I'm mainly shooting with a 50mm (1.8) and 85mm (1.8), but the camera still seems too underperform in low light. I'm on a budget, otherwise I'd jump into the professional series. I've found good used models of the D7000, so I'm considering that model. But I'd welcome your tips and advice on the D7000/7100 or others. Thanks.
