Hot pixels - a norm on all cameras or something of a concern
6 months ago

I have an E-PL5 and noticed quite a few hot pixel at slow shutter speeds. However, at fast shutters these pixels are not visible.

When "Noise Reduction" option is set to ON from AUTO, these pixels are corrected in-camera.

I was wondering if this is normal on all cameras or do I need to get this checked?

Attached is the image for reference(taken with lens cap on):

Let me know your suggestions. Thank you.
