Zeiss lenses for the perfectionist?

I have noticed that Zeiss are advertising some of their cine lenses to a wider audience including amateur still photographers who are looking for the ultimate in lens quality.

For example, their CZ.2 lenses in an interchangeable mount that can fit the popular FF cameras (Canon, Nikon, etc.) and even Micro Four Thirds.

Don't all rush now to buy the  28-80mm T2.9 or 70-200mm T2.9 - a snip at just £16,000 each!
