ok- i go first - then you put your Nikon d7000 photo

I still don't have D7000. Nor have I promised to participate in a shout with random photos where the technical quality would be impossible to be compared.

I am sure you like your camera, but it's still about as obsolete as cameras from 2010 can be.

This flower has serious colour issues (magentas), it's only 2 048px × 1 365px, thus tiny. Serious colour noise blotches visible in the background, some of the reds are burned, though maybe it's just your conversion and consideriing that the exposure seems to have been fine (no EXIF so can't be sure) yet there's still significant noise reduction.
