I'm a Manual mode shooter mostly, truly 98% of the time.

On the NEX7 I just use the left top wheel to adjust shutter speed. The wheel is free going, there are no discernal clicks, it's very smooth, beautifully dampened, and a joy to use.

I plan on adding a Fuji X to my bag (XT-1, most likely) but am concerned about the shutter speed dial. It goes only full stops, and intermediate speeds must be fine tuned with the rear wheel, right ?

Could I control shutter entirely with the rear wheel, or will it only adjust intermediary steps between the full stops set on the SS dial ?

Thanks for your help

Marla,

you have the fuji system correct. It sounds fiddly but isn't in use.
