Some recent images and one from last summer. The bif is a cedar waxwing..alot of fun to watch and photograph. They have a playful nature and will fly at you then dodge right/left ect. or just do fly-bys.

The ducks come into the bay off the erie canal/mohawk river because it is a last freeze area. You have to be pretty quick on the shutter/focus, they are not trusting of any here. Remington arms main plant is about three miles from us and they figure everyone is carrying an 870 shotgun. Ducks are here year round but the mallards i generally only see here in the winter months as they are up north further in the adirondacks in the spring/summer/fall months.
