Nikon Df memory card corruption

Hi guys

Haven't quite figured this one out... I have the Df and bought a set of Sony SD cards (94mb/s, UHS-1?) to use on a holiday.

I've recently been reviewing my photos and noticed a whole bunch were missing.

When I try to get to the folder on my PC, I get this:

Is this likely to be caused by the memory card or the camera??? If it's the camera then I need to take it back for repair.

There is another folder on there, 102NC_DF, which contains 999 photos and they are all fine. Seems that it was when the images were being saved in the new folder was when the corruption occurred.

Any ideas? I'm currently running the Sony memory recovery tool hoping it sorts this out... I have 400-500 photos that I've potentially lost I have 3 other full memory cards and the images are all fine on those as well.

Does anyone have any tips for recovery?

ANSWER:
Nikon Df
