Have you never heard of Ansel, Imogen, Henri, Dorothea?

Last I heard, they did not have the strengths of the S5 Pro to lean upon.

Part of what makes a photographer great is knowing their tools and which ones to choose for what job. Ansel had a number of large format view cameras in his bag, Imogen and Dorothea made good use of 4X5's, and Henri a Leica. Each camera they used had their strengths and they chose their cameras based on them. Henri couldn't have captured the shots he did with an 8X10 view camera and Ansel couldn't have captured the images he did with a Leica. The photographer is the most important part of capturing a photograph, but it doesn't mean that they should be able to capture fantastic images in any situation with any camera you hand them.

My X100 is compact and dead silent. I can capture images with it that someone with a 1D and a 35L stuck on the end of it can't. My XP1 can capture useable images in very low light where my iPhone exposes nothing.
