Sure, the "Nikon Trilogy", the 3 best Nikon f/2.8 G AF Zoom lenses ... Olympus 35-100 mm f/2

Slightly bigger??? What the heck are you talking about??? The Nikkor 14-24 weighs at least 3 times the weight of the Pany 7-14 and is MUCH bigger. similarly the Nikkor 70-200 is GARGANTUAN compared to the Oly 35-100. I know because I just sold my Nikkor lenses.

Hi Brick,

Are you talking about m4/3 lenses? There's no comparison there to either 4/3 SHG or FX f/2.8 lenses.

The Nikon 14-24 is 10 mm larger in length and diameter than the Olympus 7-14 mm f/4 lens. It weighs 189 g more, or about 25% more. It fits in the same padded lens pouch I was using for my 7-14. I can't really see the difference but I don't have the 7-14 anymore to compare it to.

The Nikon 70 200 mm f/2.8 AF VR is almost exactly the same size as the 35-100 mm f/2 lens, which surprised me quite a bit. The 70-200 ieghs 900 g. The 35-100 weighs 1650 g. I held the two of them side by side before I sold the 35-100. The newer 70-200 f/2.8G AF-S VRII is slightly shorter than the 70-200 VR version one. If the 70-200 were an f/2, it would be huge and heavy.

Not sure where you're getting your information from. According B&H, the Pany 35-100 only weighs 360g.
