Possibly... or get another EP5. SS looks like a per unit variation.

I've had the EM5 since April, 2012, one of the first ones. Never seen any blurring, at any shutter speed, that wasn't caused by the operator, and that includes heavy use of the 45 1.8. I've tried it with every lens I have, µ43 and 4/3, from the tiny 45 1.8 all the way up to the rather large ZD 35-100.

Now have an EM1, doesn't appear to be showing it either. Well, maybe a wee bit at 1/100, maybe not.

However, enough people have shown vertical ghosting that it does appear to be happening. So the conclusion I've reached is - this is a per unit variation. Some show it, some do not. You can try an EM5, or you could just ask for another EP5 and see if it does the same.

BTW: I would recommend the EM5 over the EP5 anyway. It's about the same size, actually a bit smaller once you put the EVF on the EP5, and the EM5's EVF is built in where it's always there, can't get lost, and can't get knocked off.
