Blah Blah Blah. I stopped reading after couple of posts. Fact is: you are either an artist or are a reporter. If you are a reporter than accuracy of the reality is of utmost importance. If you are an artist, photoshop is just another tool, in addition to the camera, to express your creativity.

Every one will be somewhere between the artist/reporter extrema and so the extent to which one approves use of photoshop is subjective.

As far as creating things in PS vs real life; t does not matter; whether you set-up studio lights or PP it in PS the quality of the results will be proportional to amount of time and effort you put fought in both cases and either case may be the winner for you.

1. D800 is the first camera with resolution so high that it simply does not matter.
2. Most people who do not own/shoot d800 misunderstand it. Color depth and accuracy in addition to resolution is what makes d800 great. Resolution alone is over rated.
