The review of the GF1 highlights the main dilemma of using a camera without a viewfinder in bright sunshine.  It is very hard to see the LCD, especially if you are wearing sunglasses.

Last summer I took a backpacking trip and left my DSLR behind in favor of an Oly XZ-1.  I did like being able to hang the camera from my neck without it being a burden, but I found it very difficult to compose shots that included people in the landscape.  It was especially difficult to get the timing right to capture momentary expressions, because I couldn't see their face in the LCD.  I would have to move my eye back and forth from looking at the LCD to looking at the subject directly.
