Don't Write-off The D200 After Dark At ISO800!

Had a job shooting aspects of an outdoor "opera" concert last weekend.  I used my D700 with the 80-200 f2.8 AF-S zoom and the 85mm f1.8D on the D200.

This was back stage well after sundown - the EXIF shows the time as 8.46pm and I could barely see the singers. Autofocus did a pretty good job - I think the softness in the RAW was possibly camera shake at 1/50.

Anyway, a D200 should not do such a good job in such low light, but using a good, fast lens obviously helps.
