One of the disadvantages of PDAF is that it can cause front/back focusing problems. Advance DSLRs have the ability to make adjustments to compensate for front/back focusing problems.

Fuji and other companies have recently implemented a PDAF+CDAF (hybrid) solution for this current generation of CSCs. Everyone knows that CDAF is extremely accurate. Considering the limitations of PDAF in general, what have Fuji done to ensure that the PDAF solution won't lead to front/back focusing problems? Or that there should be no issue because the CDAF will help fine tune the focusing to ensure focusing accuracy?

I'm under the impression that PDAF on the X series tells the lens which direction to focus in, then CDAF does the rest.
