Oh my gosh, I have been left out in the woods on this one. In the past I have briefly read post by Nordstjermen on the subject but did not think too much about it (my loss).

After reading and seeing all the push back, consternation and frustration in this thread I went out and googled "ISO-Less Sensor". Oh my gosh, this is real and I should understand it (how I use it is another thing).

It is obvious there are some very knowledgeable members in this forum (so Thanks for the lessons and enlightening on the subject - many of us can learn from this).

Below are three links I found to be interesting (the 3rd article bothers me a little because of how the author defines exposure relative to ISO-Less sensor) :

1) http://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/52265137

2) http://blog.wildlifeinfocus.com/2012/09/15/iso-less-cameras/

3) http://1000wordpics.blogspot.com/2013/01/what-does-it-mean-when-we-say-that.html

Finally, I think I now understand. I have an ISO-Less camera.

Thanks Nordstjermen

I started a thread in 2012, that is of interest to some folks here:

Sensor with native ISO of 6400 (?) >>> it was published two month before the links of William above, what does not receive a satisfactory reply imho.
