Best Budget Radio triggers for Studio strobes?

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has an opinion on this. I'm looking for a set of reliable radio triggers for studio strobes on a budget.  I don't want to shell out for pocket wizards if at all possible.  Bowens Pulsars are also out of the question as I've had my fill of those, see below!

My Bowens Pulsars are crazy.  They only work when they want to and often I don't want them to.  They can just start triggering on their own for no reason.  I've sent them away for repair/replacement, but the pair I got back were no better.  I've used different cables, switched the transmitter and receiver, used different cameras, etc. etc.

I've gone back to an old fashioned cable for now, but wouldn't mind trying a different set of triggers.

Any opinions would be appreciated.
