Which of YOUR old manual focus lenses is "WAY BETTER" than ANY autofocus lens? Which situations are you talking about?

The DPR article is dead on and the specific lens had nothing to do with the conclusions. Some here get upset when reality conflicts with their fantasy.

Well DT200, you certainly have to live up to your reputation as forum troll, don't you?

Examples of 30+ years old consumer lenses:

FD50/1.4 beats SEL50F18 below f4 in overall sharpness and contrast. Cost 50 versus 300 Euros.

FD24/2.8 is better in central clarity and edge sharpness both than SEL1855 and SEL28270 at 18-24/28 mm.

FD35/2.8 is slightly less good than FE35/2.8, a reference lens at 700 Euros.

FD135/2.8 beats in terms of sharpness each telezoom I ever had.
