Nikon D50 is better I believe. It is the only entry level Nikon DSLR to have the autofocus motor. This feature has been eliminated on later entry –level models and is currently available on mid-range and advanced models only. The other good thing is, it uses Secure Digital instead of Compact Flash cards and can easily shoot 2.5 frames per second in continuous mode and has incredible ability to mount old Nikon lenses.
