Can anyone tell me what f-stop is used for video on P mode. On my alpha cameras, it is at 3.5. Another question is at what ISO is video capped at. Thanks!

shooting in P mode has its place; for example, on the alpha cameras, the only time you can use the continuous autofocus in video mode is on P mode. When walking up and down a church aisle, I go on P mode.

On the RX100 and RX10, in any mode, you can enable CAF and even target the thing that you want to track (so that it tracks the object across the frame).

The alpha cameras are a bit odd-ball because of their SLT design.

Thank you all for the quick answers. It's also what I wanted to hear! I intend to use the RX10 (or the CX900) as my run-and-gun body. Being able to have CAF at f2.8 is a big deal, with enough depth of field allowance.
