Alternatives to Aperture

Hi guys,

I've been a happy (and faithful) user of Apple's Aperture since version 1.0.  However, after recent glitches that I've experienced, in which master RAW files were randomly corrupt, and Apple's lack of professional-level support, I'm contemplating alternatives.  To be frank, it's not just the recent glitches I've experienced, but the cumulative effects of software no longer updated, and treated with dismay.  Our studio handles over 200 portrait sessions each year, in addition to commercial work, and when something goes wrong, there is no phone number to turn to, no e-mail to contact.  I had shared my experience on Aperture's support forums, all to no avail.  I simply do not think this is how "Pro" software should be made.

Now the natural alternative is Lightroom, but given that learning new software will be a hefty time investment on my part, I wanted to see what others here have to say about other alternatives for RAW workflow in Mac environment.

Thanks a million!
