Canon made an slr that had no black out, It was called the Pellix. Instead of a movable mirror it used a fixed mirror that reflected one third the light to the finder prism and passed two thirds to the film. No noise no black out and no extra moving parts are all the pluses, the down side was a dim image in the finder.
