Re: Which Compact is best For Low Light?

The more I read, the more confused I'm getting (or maybe that's just tiredness).

Mirrorless seem like a good option but the longer lenses seem to cost more than the body itself.

For the sake of ease, I'm wondering whether to just go with the Panasonic FZ200 which many people state is a good camera, and good good reviews on this site. The only downside I can see is the smaller sensor (1/2.3") but will this be compensated by the F2.8 zoom?

Alternatively there's the Sony NEX-5N (or NEX-C3 with enough budget left to buy a zoom lens) or the Olympus E-PM2.

Part of me is thinking that there can't really be a huge difference between them, and just to pick a name out of a hat and buy one.

Please put me out of my misery....
