Heh, isn't that the basis for Canon's push to capture "micro expressions" from 4K video on the EOS-1D?

Just shoot video and pull stills…24 chances per second to get that decisive instant and capture the perfect "micro expression" moment.

You can also do now 'Lifelogging' and you could do forensics, but basically you are trading the present for the past. Does it rock your boat? Not mine.

Classical P/phy was always about 'seeing', not photocopying. Curiously, since I use EVF I also shoot blind in the Street, from the hip. possibly to increase the possibility of seeing in a fraction of an instant.

What happens before or after isn't usually v. interesting. Therefore having an OVF or an EVF doesn't make a difference.
